Who knew back when I was 18 and planning my parent's 25th Anniversary Party that Iíd eventually be planning meetings and events all over the world! After my college years at Kean University, I took the plunge into the workforce starting my career at a child care center as a Pre-School Teacher. After 5 years I discovered my true passion and made the move to meeting and event planning. In November 1999, I started at the event production firm where I met my business partners. During my 12 years there, I climbed the ranks to the title of Senior Meeting and Event Producer and traveled to more than a dozen states and numerous countries. Who knew back when I was 16 and planning the Junior/Senior prom at the Holiday Inn South Brunswick that Iíd be planning events all over the world! After my college years at Rutgers University, I took the plunge into the workforce starting my Event Planning career at the Institute for International Research as a conference coordinator. After some time, I made the move to McKinsey & Company where I stayed for four-plus years planning international, internal training programs. In May 2004, I started at the event production firm where I met my business partners. During my seven years there, I worked as a consultant in the Event Management Group at Goldman Sachs planning conferences, roadshows and other client & internal events. Over the course of my 17 years as a corporate event planner, I have planned events in over 15 states and over 10 countries. I have also dabbled in planning weddings, Sweet Sixteen celebrations and other personal events. Here I am now at Be Event Productions. Who knew back when I was 13 and wearing a clown suit at my cousin's first birthday party that I'd be planning events all over the world! When I realized Montclair State University offered a major in Recreation & Leisure Studies and I could have a career planning events, it was kismet! After a summer coordinating private events for the Boston Symphony Orchestra and a few years planning fundraising events in the not-for-profit sector, I began at the event production firm where I met the BE team. In over 12 years there, I was both an Executive Producer and the Director of Event Production, coordinating my own small- and large-scale corporate events as well as overseeing the entire team's production. I've worked in over 14 states and 6 countries. Here I am now at Be Event Productions. Who knew back when I was 9 and my mother accidently dropped me off at a birthday party a week early (btw, she left and drove off and there were NO cell phones back then!) that Iíd be planning events all over the world! After my college years at Penn State and after kissing numerous proverbial frogs in the career world, I finally found my prince in event planning. In 1996, I started at the event production firm where I met my business partners. During the majority of my 15 years there, I worked as a consultant in the Event Management Group at Goldman Sachs, planning approximately 30 events per month and managing a team of up to 15 planners. I also worked on other client accounts producing large-scale corporate events and conferences for up to 1200 people. Iíve planned events in over 15 states and in over 8 countries.
